Beth is an award winning Indiana artist. Originally from Peru, IN, Beth performed in the Peru Circus from the time she was 9 years old until she went to Ball State University. She began studying art seriously in 2012, and entered her first juried show in 2014. She studied with renowned Indiana artist, C.W. Mundy from 2012-2015. She is a member of the Hoosier Salon, American Impressionist Society, Oil Painters of America and the historic Indiana Artists. She serves on the board of the Hancock County Arts Council and the Indiana Artists. Her studio is located at the Historic Stutz Business and Arts Center in downtown Indianapolis.
Since she won Best of Show for her painting "Old Friends" in the 16th Annual Will Vawter Juried Exhibition, in 2014, Beth has received many other honors including "Hoosier Women Artist Award" in 2016, presented by the Lieutenant Governor of Indiana. She has also been juried into the 2016 Hoosier Salon Exhibition, Indiana Heritage Arts, and the Indiana Artist Exhibition at the Indianapolis Museum of Art in 2016 and 2017, in which she won a Merit Award this year for her painting.
Her work will also be featured on HGTV Good Bones in their second season beginning in May of 2017.
Beth has also been invited to by the Smithsonian Institute to paint and sell her work at their Folklife Festival on the Mall in Washington D.C.
in June of 2017 honoring the American Circus.
